Is Adipex used to treat chronic EBV?
I was diagnosed yesterday with chronic EBV. My doctor wants me to take Adipex to help with the extreme fatigue. However, when I researched Adipex it says it is used as a weight loss drug for morbidly obese people. I am 5'6" and weigh 148 lbs. I am certainly not morbidly obese and I am very concerned after researching the side effects of this medication. Has anyone else ever taken Adipex before? Thanks for you help!
Most physicians are behind on chronic EBV or Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. You may want to consider googling, "Co-Cure's Good Doctor List" to find a list of physicians in your area who routinely treat and diagnose CFS.

I am seeing my family doctor and I am beginning to doubt that he is very knowledgeable regarding EBV.
I haven't heard of the drug. What kind of physician are you seeing ? Does he/she have experience with treating Chronic Fatigue Syndrome patients ?
