Is EBV going to kill me ??

14 months of being extremely ill, Dr finally tested me for everything including HIV, it came back positive only for EBV, l have low white cell count, high B12, slightly high pottasium level. I'm not getting better I'm still as sick and the fatuige is horrible ! I'm only exsisting, this is not living! I was so active before this took me out. Please help me understand, is there anything I can do to help myself. Please Help. Am I going to physically Die from this ? Because I am so sick, I feel like it. My life as I knew it has already died.  Its hard to believe there's nothing I can do, as my Drs tell me, except live with it. No I can't just live with this ! It's a nightmare ! If there is help out there please tell me. Someone please talk to me about this. I'm am so isolated, and afraid, I have  no family, no friends since I became ill. I've lost everything, living on SSI now, get meals on wheels, that's it, and aid at sheltering arms picks up my medications for my other Heath issues I've had for years, that I've never had any long term problems with at all. I now ride the medicade bus to get to appointments, thats rough ! It just wares me out. Bassicly I just sit here in this house, alone and sick, not knowing what to do or think  ? Please Help.

See message above, plus are you on any medications such as statin drugs, plavix,methotrexate, used to treat psoriasis; asacol, used to treat ulcerative colitis as these will lower your white count and raise your liver enzymes too.

Well you have had a lot done. Usually, you don't get these types of results from having a recurrance of EBV. Your Lymphocytes would be high and atypical not normal. Your WBC count is low.  One thing I see is that you have a positive HPV test (oral). Since you have other problems with your salivary gland and dry mouth due to xerostomia I wonder if there is any link. Since HPV type 16 is a high risk type for oral cancer and genital cancer if there is any pre-cancerous stuff going on? Have they don't a CT scan or MRI of the salivary glands? Usually, they don't do anything for oral HPV unless you have oral cancer find a pre-cancerous lesion. I would look into that or ask them if there is any link there.

The EBV, HSV and CMV are all past infections and I wouldn't worry about them or the Mycoplasma pneumoniae.  You do have elevated liver enzymes though. You may also want to check for Hepatitis C just to be on the safe side. It usually isn't passed this way unless there was some blood contact from bleeding gums or mouth sores. But also Colitis can cause the high liver enzymes and just anything wrong with the liver. Do you drink alcohol? Is there any reason for the liver enzymes to be high that you know of? Take a lot of Tylenol? I will think some more about the leukopenia and liver enzymes and write back in a bit. Let me know in the meantime if you have any questions or comments.

How do you know is EBV the reason of your symptoms? Just because you tested positive for it does not mean it's the reason of your symptoms.

I was a healthy man until February 2012. Unprotected oral sex brought me to the nightmare I have since then, and changed from a totally healthy man to someone who goes to doctors every month.

Several tests done (only positive for EBV, CMV, HSV-1). With xerostomia since June 2012 which is due a salivary gland disorder (infiltration of lymphocytes has been confirmed with a lip biopsy done in December 2014). Several inmunologic tests reveal borderline leukopenia (WBC around 3,800), CD4 and CD8 counts within the normal range but in the low side of the scale:

Xerostomia is affecting my quality of life and the fact that I acquired this very likely during that night makes me to use protection with my partner to protect her, but now we want babies. So we're in a dilemma now.

Wish I knew what virus is causing all this (I am convinced this is a virus).

1. sex relation – one nihgt stand.
2.after 2 weeks or so, symptoms:
– some like flu sensation, still no fever..
– red neck inside with some white patches- very painfull
– fatigue, nausea, white tongue,
– muscles pain, swolen cervical adenopathy.
– test done: staphiloccocus aureus positive, herpes simplex, toxoplasmoza, helicobacter pilory.
– lost wheight, depresia, bone pain
– i see a lot of black spots in my eyes,i forgot the name…
– i have lipoma all over my body
– candida throat and tongue
– mycoplasma pneumonia
– burning hands, face and tongue
– red points on all my body
– digestive problem, and my gallbladder full with polyps and remove it out.
and the list goes on…….
well, first i thought i have HIV. but i did all the tests, at 3- 6 – 9 months and after 7 years ..negative.
doctors told me to look toward other illnes then HIV. i met some people with HIV they told me they didn t have such many symptoms in a summer.
important note : my friend with i was having that relation is HPV positive

digestive problems: yellow stools, oily stools, gallobladder remove out, celiac disease, pancreas lipomatosis, dry skin, a lot of bugs attack me….mycoplasma, bartonella…
it was clear to me i cought a virus there…and it eats me for couple of years now..my wife starts having same symptoms ..i am scared.


what s is wrong?

i am located in Romania now. but i ll go in Montreal to see some doctors.

i met one person here having HIV positive.he is much better than i do,

i am going crazy...really...sometimes i am sure i have AIDS with no antibody...

i am scared...i hardly can sleep ....i read on internet, tryng to get some answers..
