35M how many weeks to wait before wearing contact lens after pterygium surgery

I have pterygium surgery for my right eye scheduled next month.

I wear contact lenses for myopia.

6 weeks after surgery I have a trip planned where I need to wear contact lenses rather than glasses for some activities.

I know healing time can't be guaranteed for everyone. But generally applicable for 90% of cases, how long does it take for the eye to be in state after pterygium surgery where contact lens can be worn for 10 hours a day

You will have to discuss this with your cornea surgeons. Often contact lens are the cause of pterygia, and often people are advised not to wear contacts after one is removed.
