Weird vision

Hello, I'm a 21 year old art student, I've been overworking finals, recently and have had some weird vision in my left eye.
It started as kindof a 'sun spot' in the peripheral vision of my left eye that was several days ago. The sun spot has faded and I can very rarely see it but otherwise its gone. The day after I had a migrane headache and still felt my vision was somewhat off. Now it feels like my peripheral vision isn't as good in my left eye, and my eye feels irritated and dry. I notice it the most while looking at a computer or in bright daylight.

I don't have any blindspots, and like I said the sun spot has faded. No recent head trauma or anything. I have had ocular migraines in the past but I haven't had one in several years. I've stared at amsler grids and all that and I cant really explain what exactly is wrong other than it 'feels' like I have a blind spot in my left eye or my vision is unbalanced.

I am a visual effects student and look at computer screens for most of the day. Anyone with similar experiences?

I don't have health insurance and have been just hoping to wait it out before I go drop several hundred on an eye exam.

If your health is good, especially if you are a female, on birth control pills the highest probability is that is is a variant of ocular migraine  Migraine triggers often include stress, sleeplessness, hormonal changes, pregnancy.  They are not caused by computer screens thankfully.  If they get worse, something new develops that is frightening you would need to see an MD ophthalmologist and your family MD.
