If there are a medical practitioner that can give advice, it will be much appreciated.
I have had a type of lameness on the inside of my legs for about 3 years now, i.e. on the reverse of the kneecap and muscles downwards. It comes and goes, worse after sitting for a period of time. My GP is clueless. I recently had a accident where I broke my left arm collarbone and could not be active for months, causing my weight to go up to 110 Kg (I am 6 foot 4 inches) and the lameness in my legs have grown worse, after sitting for some time I have great difficulty in standing up and painful when walking. Otherwise than this, I am in perfect health.
The past week I had a Voltaren injection which after about 4 hours was a miracle, all pain went away and for the first time in a very long time I could move freely. Overnight it returned again, and yesterday I injected Voltaren again, and again it helped 100%. THis morning I was totally pain-free with ful mobility.
Any idea what causes this? IF Voltaren helps it must obviously be a inflammation of some sort. Only problem is, Voltaren is not a permanent solution.
Many thanks
