Do I have an eye infection or allergy?

My eyes were itching last week and the lower lid margin on the left edge was a bit swollen.. Day before yesterday my ears were itching and the corners of my eyes inner side, are a little swollen. The eyes don't hurt, no goop in the eyes and are not red except for the corners. I took Claritin last night and they are still swollen. I do have antibiotic eye drops since I have blepharitis and sometimes get infections. But usually they feel grainy or like they have rocks in them. I don't feel like that. I can't get an appointment with an eye doctor. They are all booked, even the ones that I pay cash for. Should I just use the drops just in case or is this not an eye infection?
thanks,

I had blepharitis and used tea tree wipes and a warm compress (facecloth moistened with warm water). Give it a go. It cannot do any harm.

I ended up using my antibiotic eye drops. We'll see if the swelling goes away. The eyes feel better.  It it on the pink tissue next to the white of the eye on the nose side not "ear" side of the face. I can't get a good photo. It is where you tear up. Maybe clogged tear ducts? Sorry for the bad description.

Sorry from your description I can't tell the exact problem so cannot advise about using antibiotics.

Hi Dr.Hagan,
I looked up the anatomy of the eye and I think it is the lacrimal caruncle on both eyes that are swollen.
