I've been on the phone to my local A&E department and am going to see an eye specialist first thing in the morning to get checked over.

A RD would be less common than facial fractures (double vision, pushed back eye, numb cheek). If your vision is not blurred or double and no pain you may be okay. Symptoms of RD, sudden increase of showers of black floaters, loss peripheral vision and flashes of light. Odds of a RD very small
