Eye vision

Hi! When i was born, i had cataract also my left eyelid was close, on surgery doctors replased new lens with my old one, and they did eyelid surgery they put one muscle vein but it not helped well my left eyelid was close than right.
When i was 8 years old another doctor did eyelid surgariy after that my left eye opened like right however it is not working like right eyelid ex: when i look above, my left eyelid not moving but right eyelid moving equaly to above with my eye. Also it happens when i looc bellow.

My first question is:
Can we do my left eyelid performance like right eyelid?

Now i am 17 years old, i"' wearing eye glasses left eye glass number is -1.75 and right is -7.0 approximately 2 years ago i recocnised that i look everywhere with my right eye only though it has blurry vision than left..
I can see everything with left eye too but it is hard to read some thing even i cant do it when i close my right eye. Distant places is also not clear to look. I cant explain that vision of my left eye, i dont know it see darker than my right eye or peripheral vision of my left eye is weaker or it is a lazy eye. I'm going to my eye doctor frequently also they say everything is good after 18 we'll change your lens and you will not need an eyeglasses

My second question is:
What problem has on my left eye?

I'll be very happy for your ansvers!

Your apparent diagnoses are : Congential ptosis R upper lid  and Unilateral high myopia with amblyopia.  The cause of your LE not seeing well is very problematic.

1. No surgery cannot make the R upper lid look and move like your LUL.
2. Your explanation of the LE problem makes no sense. If you didn't need glasses when you take your glasses off now the LE should see normal.
3. Suggest you get a second opinion by another eye MD ophthalmologist or make appointment with the one you have now as the LE problem is very concerning given that is your "good" eye.

Sorry you have had such a tough time with vision - makes me know how lucky I am.

I can't give any advice, but you have doctors which is what matters.

What I do know is there is such a thing as "lazy eye" and I believe that can be overcome with training, which may include periods with an eye patch on the other eye.  Not sure on that, but I am sure the condition is well understood by the eye doctors.

As for new lenses, I know that us older folks who get cataract surgery usually are overjoyed by the improvement in vision - so we can hope you will see a lot better with updated lenses.

Wishing you the best outcome, God Bless
