Halos from Rezoom implant

I am a 48 year old male, who elected to have ReSTOR and ReZoom done together in June 2008.  Here are the particulars:  Left eye (ReSTOR) model SA60D3, 21.5D, OT 13.0mm, OB 6.omm.  Right eye (ReZoom) model NXG1, 21.5D, OT 13mm, OB 6mm.

I, like many other threads I have researched, am really upset at the halo problems associated with the implants.  I feel that the surgeon I went to did not do an acceptable job of telling about these side effects.  Having to live the rest of my life with these halos is not a comforting thought.

The ReSTOR implant gives a pinpoint glare at night, which I think is bearable.  My beef is with the ReZoom lens, which gives me a fuzzy, thick halo, day and night, around any point of light, being a bulb, light fixture, reflection, or computer screen.  This impacts me during the day by causing almost double vision at distance in the ReZoom eye, and just extremely noticable thick halos at night, to the point where depth perception is impossible.  I am also right eye dominant, so this is doubly troubling for me.

After almost a year, now the surgeon has me on Restasis, but I see no improvement by using this.

So my question is, are glasses a possibility for using at nighttime to correct the halo problem so that driving is not so harrowing?
