Buying spectacles: Hoya or Zeiss lenses?

I'm about to buy a new pair of glasses but unsure which lenses should I vote for: Hoya or Zeiss (opticians here use either one of them)?
I know if made right they do the same but I'm thinking about:

- How easily they get greasy/dirty?
- How resistant they are to scratches?
- Chances of faulty product?
- How wide is the 'readable' clear vision in the center?

Thanks for the help.

Zeiss is the better lens but likely the most expensive.

Thank you for the answer.
Zeiss makes the type of microscope we use for eye surgery.
