Is there any relationship between intraocular pressure and the progress of myopia?

If a person's IOP is high within the normal range, is it affected by his myopia progress? I see a saying that "for adults, the high intraocular pressure will also lead to the increase of the axial length". Is this right? In addition, will the fluctuation of intraocular pressure cause a series of changes in the vitreous body? For example, accelerate liquefaction, cause drag, flash, etc.

Glaucoma is not one disease there are more than a dozen types of glaucoma. In infantile or juvenile glaucoma present at birth or early in life, elevated IOP can lead to longer axial length due to the soft, stretchable sclera "Ox Eye".  However in adult glaucoma IOP does not lead to longer axial. The factors associated with high myopia include premature birth or low birth weight, heredity, racial characteristics, prolonged near work, not going outdoors often as youth.   The IOP always fluctuates, varying from hour to hour with about a 6-8 point range in normal non glaucoma eyes to as much as 10-20 in glaucoma or glaucoma suspect eyes. The vitreous liquifes faster in high myopia but IOP is not a factor in this.
