Luis Eye issue!

I just recently had a racquetball accident, the ball basically hit me in the eye! 2 weeks later I started seeing flashes of light very small on the outside of my right eye. The doctor told me it was due to the fluid, I am guessing vitreous fluid. My question is being being that I am 33, and have never had a issues with my eyes what are my chances of having a retinal tear in the next couple of weeks Doc?

yes you could have an RD in the next two weeks. Generally if you have a sudden increase in floaters, flashes or any loss of peripheral vision you need to go in sooner.

Could I get a retinal in the next two weeks even though the doctor told I had no damage currently. He told that he needed to see me in two weeks because after the liquid clears it could create a tear, what is you opinion on this matter?

You cannot create 'odds' on having a RD. Hopefully the "doctor" that saw you was a physician Eye MD ophthalmologist. If not you need to see one. You can find one near you at www.geteyesmart.org   And never play a racquet sport (tennis, squash, racquetball, etc) without safety goggles.
