Pain in eyes ,still.

Hi Dr. John. Its Cath278 again. Following my app with the Neurologist last week, she sent a letter to my dr saying she thought that I had TA but in order to rule out BIH I still have to have the tests done.(next week). And as you already told me, it is almost impossible to get a true biopsy result for TA when Ive been on steriods so long . My dr has instructed me to bring down my dosage of Pred by 5mgs per week. I am now on 25mgs. My concern now is , even on 25mgs and the headaches are gone, my  eyes are still very sore. I need pain killers at least once a day to function. My thought is, if the disks and nerve endings are swollen still,coupled with the sore eyes, could I be causing damage to my eyes? And does it make sense to reduce Pred? Or is everything alright and I just have to put up with the pain?  I can put up with it all as long as I dont lose my sight. Also, didnt get to ask dr more, my 5mins were up. Dear Dr. John, Thank you for replying even tho you coul dt help this time.I guess I will have to pin down my dr. Saying that,you have helped me.  Iam aware that one  has to be concise when posting in the forum and this has helped me to "tidy" up my thoughts.
