Our thanks to all of you for your input and AnnaE, I appreciate the warm welcome. My brother has had a barrage of cardio tests done since the incident and nothing appeared to have changed there. He has a history of heart attack and subarachnoid hemorrhage so his next step is to see a neurologist. Dr. Hagan, I sent him your message about seeing an eye MD. Thank you. Again, thanks to all for responding to my question.

Those are deeply disturinbing symptoms. He should call his personal physician immediately. He needs to see an Eye MD very soon. This could be TIA and can presage a stroke.
Do not ignore this and he should seek immedate care

I am a community leader here, not a doctor. I am also an experienced eye patient. Welcome to our community
Distracting is so right--he should see an MD asap. Could be serious.
Dr. Hagan will respond.
Please don't wait to get your brother checked.
Anna
I assume he has seen an MD and explained this sympthom. If not, it is a high priority! Do it today.
