Pupils - especially one - getting huge when exercising

My daughter has noticed lately that her pupil is getting really big when exercising - even when not doing too much. It seems to always happen in the gym. One pupil is a lot larger than the other, and from what we can tell, she has had uneven pupils for about 2 years.

The left pupil almost takes over the entire eye, but goes back down to normal when she leaves the gym. I took her to an opthamologist last week, who said she didn't have Adies tonic pupil, since they reacted to light.

I'm taking her to another opthamologist and a neurological opthamologist, but was wondering if anyone else had encountered this problem, and if I should take her out of basketball for the time being (she just made her JV team)

Thanks!

She hadn't been to a neuro-opthamologist yet - just a "regular" opthamologist.

The neuro I called needs the doctor to refer her, so I'm working on getting her to another opthamologist in his area.

Thanks

If she's been cleared by a neuro-ophthalmologist I would not worry. Teen agers and kids often have huge pupils that, like them, are very active.
