Recovery After strabismus surgery.....

I underwent strabismus surgery before two months. Doctor adviced me  to refrain from  normal activities for
one week and I would be able to start my gym after 1 week.  After two months whenever I go for bowling and weightlifting in gym I feel discomfort in my eyes and my eyes easily get swelled in the next morning and I feel  pain for some days.

I want to know  should I stop my gym and bowling. for some more time and how many weeks muscles takes for
healing after surgery.

Please advice.

I agree It must come from my surgeon but I want to confirm the instruction given by
my surgeon in this forum.

I think you could provide me the general information regarding post operative instruction
for normal activities like aerobic, gym, swimming
