Stationary "squggly" lines across entire non focused field of vision...

Okay...here it goes..I've had this issue for 5+ years and went to a neuro ophthalmologist for testing on this..and nothing was found. Perhaps it was the wrong doctor to choose..I have no clue. Anyway heres the issue and I'm hoping someone knows what this could be. The best way I can explain it is by giving you guys an example of the the problem...This sounds totally weird but if I am sitting on my couch and I look at my blinds (or any other pattern or grid on a paper) and I put my finger in front of my face and focus on it..I can see these "squggly" lines across the entire field of NON focused vision. These arent floaters (I have a couple of those so I know for sure)...This issue hasnt gotten any worse in years but is fairly bothersome...it affects my normal perception but these lines arent visible when I'm looking at a computer monitor or television (unless theres a pattern..like somsone wearing a white shirt with tons of stripes in close proximity...this allows me to see the squiggles)...This issue is totally non visible if I'm looking at the sky or anything with just one color...which is astounding to me. The squggles seem to be stuck in place and never really move...and they are abundant throughout the entire field of vision. So basically if I'm looking at my finger completely focused in with my blinds in the background..and I move my finger up and down and follow it..I can clearly see the mass amount of squiggly clear lines in non-focused field of vision. Does anyone know what this could be? It would help me immensely and I do plan on talking to several more specialists about this...I just feel like someone online may know precisely what this is. By the way..I test 20/15 vision so my sight is sharp..the only other issue I have is seeing orbs around street lamps and headlights at night..and when looking at certain LED lights there is almost a double vision effect if I'm far enough from the light..I hope that was a good enough description of the issue..Thanks guys for any light you might be able to shed on this issue.

First and most important as you have had these 5 years and see numerous MDs and nothing has further developed I think its safe to say that unless something happens new you don't need to worry about it.

I think that you may be aware of physiological diplopia (Google that and read about it).

Unless something new develops I would just drop the hunt.
