TB IN EYES

Hi,

I had TB in eyes and my doctor named it as Chloriditis, i took treatment to get off from TB but my right eye vision is still not clear. While taking treatment doctor said there is blood clot inside my eye and it takes time to recover i used steroid tablets and vitamin tablets but it is still the same? I can see some black lines or dots in my right eye vision? Can you please help why it is not clear? also may i know the cause of this problem?

Suggest you get a second opinion from another ophthalmologist not one that has examined you in past.  You should be having your eyes examined by an Eye MD yearly. Further improvement in the TB eye extremely unlikely.

Hi Doctor,
I got this problem on 2011 and i took treatment for TB for more than 9 months and my doctor said TB is cured and the eye will cure slowly so he asked me to take some vitamin tablets for eyes and i did it. But right now, i'm not taking any medicines for it, may i know any suggestions to improve vision on the affected eye?
Can you please suggest me on how to protect the uninvolved eyes?

The term is "choroiditis" an infection or inflammation of the middle layer of the eye. TB in the eye is extremely serious and may lead to permanent damage even blindness even if the infection is eventually cured. Depending on when you had this infection it might be that your vision would improve no further especially if the reading part (macula) was involved. You need to discuss the potential for further recover with your ophthalmologist. Also do all you can to protect the uninvolved eye from disease, injury and an unhealthy lifestyle.
