Wavy Motion in Left Eye

Hi I just had an odd occurrence. I was walking upstairs (dark rooms) to the bedroom and went into the bathroom and turned on the lights. I had my ceiling fan on and for a few moments I continued to see wavy / fan like motion in left eye (peripheral vision). I went into another room and it was still there (wavy - but like I could still see the fan motion) then it stopped. I am in excellent health 62, has an eye exam 6 months ago and a carotid and echo in September. I was told I have the beginning of cataracts. My echos were all good - normal heart function /size no blockages EF 68%. I take generic Crestor and baby aspirin. I am going to call the eye doctor tomorrow- has anyone had something like this? It has been a bit stressful and sleep is challenging but otherwise I eat whole food diet, take supplements and exercise regularly.

Do discuss with your physician. The best thing it could be would be some sort of afterimage from the ceiling fan and your eyes changing from dim vision to bright vision systems.
