What is causing my chloropsia (green vision) at night??

So every night as soon as i am going to go to sleep my entire vision gets tinted green. It is like sudden slow flashes of green to the point where i can no longer sleep because when i close my eyes i see flashes of light both green and white hover again and again over my eyes forcing me to open my eyes. I am I am losing so much sleep and worst of all there is little to NO information over chloropsia (tinted green vision). And what frightens me the most is that im worried sick that this is damaging my color perception and to top it off art is my life! So i need color otherwise i don't know anything else. I have a few ideas as to why its happening but I really need help. I am an 18 year old female if for age and gender will help determine the cause.

Possible causes: my ideas
- maybe i have night blindness and the chloropsia accompanies it? (It only happens in complete darkness please let me know if night blindess can also permanetly damagr your vision :,()

- maybe I am over stimulating my brain too much. From 7am to 11pm i am practicing and learning digital art. And even afterwards i am constantly thinkinh about practicing and learning. Yeah i am obsessed. So when i go to sleep i have many many thoughts of what i just learned and i draw and rotate the images in my head.

- because its digital art maybe being at a screen for more than 10 hours causes me to have the flashes of green tinted vision at night. Although if i have a light sonewhere my green vision stops

- i also oil paint, maybe a couple of months ago, i accidently rubbed my eyes with toxic artistic mediums such as oderless mineral spirits, linseed oil, liquin, etc.

- i do remember when this started last year, i was once extremly sick and it was night time when everyone was asleep and i had a massive fever. I remember i also had my eyes open and thats when i first saw the tinted vision. Both red and green actually.

-funny thing is, when i was at highschool sleeping really late because of school work, IB student! Haha this wouldnt happen. So maybe i should tire myself out more? Idk just an idea, but if i were to do that i would be getting 3-4 hours of sleep

- my diet is really bad i guess. I rarely eat meat, do not eat much dairy, eat loads carbs and sugars. Because im really short 4'8 i eat 800-1000 calories so maybe im lacking some nutrients?

There i ruled out all possibilities, i need help! Please my eyes are my life and i am losing enormous amounts of sleep!

First of all it is not possible to reassure you without you first seeing an ophthalmologist for a basic eye exam. It is  a false economy to try and save $85-150 USD by not having an eye exam for a new problem especially one that is disturbing you so much.

Eye strain will not cause this, color vision problems are rare in females are are present at birth. It is not due to diet. You may becoming aware of entopic phenomena and after images from you prolonged computer screen. Try knocking off all screen use 2 hours before bedtime. This is not at all likely due to any chemicals you work with or injury to eyes.
