cataract surgery

I am a 61 yo female, in very good health, about to have cataract surgery. I do yoga 5 days a week and am wondering if this surgery will prevent me doing inverted poses(I do not do headstands, just down dogs) in the long run. I know I will have to refrain from these in the weeks following surgery. However, will I have to refrain from inverted poses forever?  If I can do them, what are the risks, if any.
Would appreciate your response.
Sincerely
Sathi Nair

In answer to you question, Dr. O. said there would be no problem. My suggestion  would be to look into having a monofocal lens as opposed to a multifocal lens..
