I have double vision, could it be from an arachnoid cyst?

I've had the double vision, dizziness, sleep issues and pretty bad headaches for a long time, like over two years. An MRI showed a small arachnoid cyst of under 1cm and my cerebellar tonsils are about 4mm below where they ought to be. Could these be the cause of the double vision and other problems? I really want to feel better again. Thanks for any help and ideas. My family is not happy with some people not taking these symptoms seriously. I do wear prism glasses for the double vision and they help, but my depth perception is not so good.

Your question can only be generalized.  most small arachnoid cysts are assymptomatic. However your cerebellum being pushed down could indicate a variant of Arnold-Chiari Syndrome  That might could some of your symptoms.  Hopefully your eye doctor that prescribed the prism glasses is a MD or ophthalmologist. You would need to ask the ophthalmologist if that is the cause.

Thank you very much! I will go back to see my doctor to talk about this soon.
Best of luck
