eye infection?

My right eye has been itching on the inside corner pretty bad thse past several days. It also seems to be "leaking" water or is it water? is it something else? I honestly can't tell.  I need to keep a tissue handy.  It is not painful but somewhat uncomfortable and I need to keep soaking, whatever it is that's collecting in there,  out of my eye.

Any ideas?

Try putting fresh honey to the itching spot.

Thank you for your speedy reply!  I will keep an "eye" on it, no pun intented of course.  I've never had allergies (I'm 43) but I know that you can aquire them at any time so I will defiitely try the allergy drops.  OTC?  Any particular brand I should try?

It is most likely due to allergies.  Try some allergy eye drops and if not better see an EyeMD.
