eye treatment

I am a 32 yrs old school teacher with a severe myopia of -19 in my left eye and -20 in my right eye. I have been using contact lenses for almost last 15 yrs. I don't want to wear them anymore as travelling makes it difficult. Should i opt for intra occular lenses? Is it safe with my kind of power? Please respond.

You could be fully corrected with the Veriseye, but not the Visian, ICL.  You need to be aware that there are numerous complications that can occur, including cataract, glaucoma or increased eye pressure, infection, inflammation, and damage to the iris, to name a few.  Because of your severe myopia, you are at increased risk for all complications, including visual aberrations such as halos, glare, reduced contrast/color vision, etc.

In my opinion, no one with extreme myopia should even consider ICLs when contact lens wear is still possible.
