air travel after healing of retina detachment

Is it safe to travel frequently after the gas bubble has dissipated and the Dr says the retina detachment is fully healed?  I will return to work soon and part of my job is frequent air travel and wanted to know if it there is the risk for the retina to detach again especially on long flights? Not there yet, but curious, so I will know if I need to look into getting transferred to another job position.

No problem traveling once the air or gas has reabsorbed other than the standard hassles of travel.
