do i have low vision?

Hi I have had glasses since I was 12ys old and they have worsened over the years. It even seems that my glasses aren't enough and I just got them in march of 2010. I can't drive at night because the headlights of oncoming traffic are too bright and give me headaches, (not as bad with contacts) and hurt my eyes. I can not see text at size 36 at 4ft away its just a blur and have to strain my eyes a lot to focus enough to somewhat make it out. My last visit I got a slip that says:

OD: -2.25 sphere
OS: -2.00, Cyl +0.25, axis 150

What does this mean? Do I have low vision? And what is my vision?... ie: 20/20..? Thank you for any help you may be able to give me.

i would definitely think you weren't low vision.  but there maybe something else going on causing the problems with the bright lights.  not sure how old you are but cataracts will cause problems with bright lights and night vision.  i'm 40 and at my last eye exam mentioned some issue with sunlight and the assistant found the beginnings of very small cataracts.

my eyes are -15 and -12 with astigmatisms in both on top of the myopia.  as a young child was also diagnosed with a lazy eye.  but i can be corrected with contacts to 20/20 and do not have low vision.  although i recently suffered from cnv and some leakage and now have some vision loss in my left eye.

This is a mild myopic prescription.  I can not tell you what your vision is from the prescription.  Ask your doctor.
