optic neuritis?

the vision on my right eye is less bright than on my left eye. this can be easily noticed by staring at some light bulb.. also, the colour perception is less - it's like turning down colour on the tv

only difference is that there is no pain? but there are blindspots.. i have the feeling that i'm missing something.. this is with the central vision but i think the natural blindspot also has expanded..

also if i stare at something for as little as around 30s with only my right eye.. everything blurs out and i can't see a thing! and my right eye feels very numb and it takes a while for me to regain vision..

also a lot of blood vessels are visible around the iris of my right eye.. it's been like this and has become worse for the past 2 years.. but i wouldn't call it bloodshot.. it looks very bad compared to my left eye..

for the past few days i've been experiencing the feeling of numbness and some tingling over my body..
i'm concerned.. also i've always preferred my left eye to the right one since i was a kid. so could this be a lazy eye?

last time i went to the doctor i realised i need glasses.. astigmatism on  both eyes - -0.5 in the left and -1.0 on the right.. shortsight 0.5 on the left eye.. everything seemed clearer but the blindspots didn't go away... even the staring thing..

my doctor said this might be stress due to computers, etc. but i don't think so

i had vacations and was off my computer for some 20 days and i didn't percieve even a slight difference.

i'd dabbled in drugs like ketamine and ritalin but have been off them for long..  what could this be? should i get an mri done? could it be optic neuritis.. i know it's supposed to be rare. but the colour difference is quite distinct.. but there is no pain (will this sensation of numbness count as pain) - but i had some very bad headaches last month.. they have subsided.. the eye pressure was normal 6 months ago.. i also get some tingling sensations like when the eyelid quivers but inside my right eye

You need to see an Eye MD ophthalmologist. Needing glasses or computer overuse would not cuase this. See one ASAP,  find one in the USA a www.aao.org
