2ww - Early July 2010 - Anyone else?

Hi all,

I am in the dreaded 2ww, until July 11, 2010, when I go in for my blood test. I'm looking for buddies to keep me company and prevent me from doing HPTs...until a reasonable time at least!!

Anyone on the same schedule?

Good luck, and lots of baby dust to you all!

SL

A little about me, and where I am on this ttc journey:

--Age 39. Good health, but dh has low count and slow moving troops. 2 failed IUIs.

--Now on 1rst IVF cycle, which has gone like this:
06/15 to 24: Follistim and Menopur shots, 150 each
06/25: HCG trigger
06/27: Egg Retrieval. 14 eggs! :-)
06/28: Antibiotics and started progesterone shots. 10 eggs fertilized! :-)
06/28-07/04: Mild to moderate OHSS. :-( Not comfortable, but not so bad to have to cancel transfer. :-)
07/02: Day 5 Embryo Transfer. 2 good embies (blastocytes) transferred. :-) 4 stayed under observation for freezing.
07/04: Progesterone test. All good. None of the extra embies were good to freeze. :-(
07/05: Better from OHSS, though still od'ing on Gatorade to prevent return, which might come if I do get pregnant.
07/06: Waiting.... no symptoms, aside from a couple of mild twinges in lower abdoment... According to the schedule below, implantation should still be occuring.

07/11 is blood test day!

---------------------------

5-Day Blast Transfer - What happens each day after:

Day One: The blastocyst begins to hatch out of its shell
Two:         The blastocyst continues to hatch out of its shell and begins to attach itself to the uterus
Three:      The blastocyst attaches deeper into the uterine lining, beginning implantation
Four:        Implantation continues
Five:        Implantation is complete, cells that will eventually become the placenta and fetus have begun to develop
Six:          Human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG) starts to enter the blood stream
Seven:     Fetal development continues and hCG continues to be secreted
Eight:       Fetal development continues and hCG continues to be secreted
Nine:        Levels of hCG are now high enough to detect a pregnancy

That's great ck71! I'm really happy for you.
I also took a test this afternoon because I became all bloated during the day and had terrible back pain, and it felt like the OHSS coming back. My RE had warned me that it might come back if I did get pregnant as the HCG returned to my system, just like with the trigger shot before egg retrieval.
So anyway, I got a faint pink line, but definitely there!
I'm excited, though cautious.
I have my Beta in the morning and I'll know more then. I hope it's all good but that the ohss does not get much worse. I'm worried that if I'm this was right now, how bad will it get as the hcg keeps rising? But I'll deal with anything      as long as the news is good!
Will keep you posted!

So i am cautiously excited!  I took a HPT this morning and got a BFP!  Then I went to a walk in clinic this morning because I felt like I was getting a bladder infection and they did another test before they gave me antiobiotics just to make sure.  And it was positive also!  Today is 13DPO so the trigger shot should be out of my system right?  I am going to call my RE on Monday to schedule a beta.   Wont get to excited until I get the beta test results back.  Hopefully there will be lots of BFPs to follow on this thread!  Baby dust to all of you!
