When I wanted to get fertility help because I wasn't having any luck getting pregnant, I started by contacting my insurance company to see what I had to do to make sure I was covered. If you want to make sure your appointments are covered, check with your insurance company to see what they cover and what steps they require you to take. My insurance company told me I had to either see my primary care physician or my OBGYN to get a referral to a fertility doctor. I went to my OBGYN and she wasn't allowed to run any fertility tests, just do a pap test and test for std's and then refer me to a fertility doctor. All insurance companies are different. Good luck.

Hi there

I think you should see an OBGYN or physician to get yourself evaluated; few ultrasounds; blood work of hormones might help us here. 1 ovary should not be a problem i guess as long as you ovulate. might be a good idea to get your DH evaluated too. just a quick semen analysis. good luck.
