Calling All Women of Strength!!!

A Strong Woman VS. A Woman Of Strength

A strong woman works out every day to keep her body in shape…
But a woman of strength builds relationships to keep her soul in shape.

A strong woman isn't afraid of anything…
But a woman of strength shows courage in the midst of fear.

A strong woman won't let anyone get the better of her…
But a woman of strength gives the best of herself to everyone.

A strong woman makes mistakes and avoids the same in the future…
A woman of strength realizes life's mistakes can also be unexpected blessings and capitalizes on them.

A strong woman wears a look of confidence on her face…
But a woman of strength wears grace.

A strong woman has faith that she is strong enough for the journey…
But a woman of strength has faith that it is in the journey that she will become strong.

Luvkayln - Happy 19 weeks!  You and dh are such animal lovers....so nice of you guys to adopt the little kitties!!  What good practice for you too!  I hope they do well.  Will you keep them??

Mrspace - If bding hurts that much you should really tell dh.  Your ovaries are probably swollen and you could potentially change position or he could maybe not go in so deep.  Something is not right is you are in that much pain.

Scripps - Congrats!!  Great number and hopefully this will put your mind at ease for the next while.  It sounds like everything is just fine!!

Mommyin10 - Thank goodness tomorrow is Friday.  I CAN NOT wait for your u/s!!  Dh did bring the camera home and I posted a couple of pics of Jake's room :)

Guesito - Thanks for your well wishes!  We are really getting excited.  I am so glad that your dh is back at work and you can start saving for the reversal.  It will work for you and you will save $$!!  It's just a matter of time for you and your friends are right....once you get the reversal you will be next!  Hang in there and try to stay positive.  I know how difficult it is but it will happen for you.

Keyan - Nice to hear from you and glad you are taking some time off with dh...although painting is not very relaxing!!  It is a lot of work and my back ached and ached after dh and I painted our house.  You should talk to your doctor about your back just in case it is from the Lupron though.  Glad your last shot is coming up so soon!!!

As I mentioned I posted a few pics of Jake's room!  I kept it pretty simple.  It is a small room so didn't want to overwhelm the room and Jake with a big theme!  I got a few animal pictures and kept it at that :)  Yesterday my sister came over with my 2 year old nephew.  He is the cutest thing and it just made me more excited to get Jake into the world.  We are hoping Jake and my nephew get along really well!

I'll check in a bit later.  Have a great day friends and SSBD!

I'm 3dpo, I think.... now I'm not so sure. My temp dropped back down this morning.  I checked it 3 times, just to be sure.  ***tmi alert*** Last night, dh and I were bd'ing, and it was HORRIBLE.  I am glad it was dark so he couldn't see me crying. It hurt so bad.  The pain in my ovaries/lower back/low abdomen just hurt so bad.  It was this sharp stabbing pain every time he'd.... go in.  There's no better way to say it. Sorry.  My deep cough is back, so that's making things worse. But the pain is just unbearable.  So, we'll see what my temps do tomorrow.  I'm wondering if I didn't O on Monday and it was just a random temp spike. I'm still taking opks and got a -opk this morning again.  I'm going to keep taking them, just in case.

I'm wondering though, if I did ovulate, what does that mean now?  Does that mean this cycle is over for me?  I have no idea.

So yesterday was a bad day. I had a big meeting with my boss that went GREAT!  For half an hour we went over how we can improve our office.  It was great.  I am feeling good here.  My annual review is in just a few weeks so it got me excited.  Then he informs me that he's 99% sure that he's going to leave the firm.  Now, that doesn't mean I lose my job, but if the firm can't find a replacement advisor for this branch (in the middle of po-dunk nowhere) in 180 days from his departure, then I will be switched to an on-call, getting around 12 hours a month.  It's scary stuff.  I want to look for other jobs, but until things are really set in motion, I can't do much.

So that's it for me this morning.  I will update everyone later today.  Gotta get busy here at work.

Good morning! :) So guess what?! We have 2 new foster babies in the house! :) Last night, Sean was at his mom's and there were 2 brand new baby kitties, the umbilical cord still attached and eyes still shut! The mama was no where to be found. Well, I guess he must've walked away for a minute and then came back and only found 1, so we just assumed that the mom came back for the other one but he went ahead and grabbed the other one b/c there are all kinds of critters out there that would kill it! Luckily I still had powdered formula leftover from when we had the possum that had been in the fridge. Well, to my suprise, instead of just coming home with 1, he came home with both of them! Apparently the mama didn't come back for the other one, but his mom's 150lb dog had it in his mouth! :( So we didn't think it was going to survive, plus it's sooo tiny, smaller then the other one. But lo and behold, just like 2 little infants, they woke me up every 2 hours on the hour last night to get fed! :) And so far they're both doing really well! :) It's really cute to watch them nurse off the bottle, I have to basiclly help them find it, but they get the hang of it once it's by their mouth. Anyway, just wanted to share that! So I'll have to figure out something for today, since we both have to work. I could take them to work with me, and leave them by the back door in the shade but I'm scared to b/c it's so hot here lately! I'll think of something... I may just have to sneak out every couple hours and come home to feed them! :)

Scripps- Congrats on your awesome beta number!! :) And YES, definately take your prenatal vitamins, even if you already eat healthy! I'm shocked too that your doc didn't have you on them, especially now that you are pregnant?!

Keyan- Thank you!! :) Oh and YES, Addy's middle name just came to me yesterday, just like I hoped it would! :) Since she's due on Christmas Day, we're naming her Adalynn Noelle! Isn't that beautiful? :)

Sorry to make this so short, I have crying babies in the background that need fed! ;)

I got good news today.  Beta at 274, so while of course I won't stop worrying, I may sleep better tonight.  I'm really fuzzy from the stress and short nights--I keep waking up after about 6 hours of sleep.

I told my sister today, and she was appalled that my doctor doesn't have me on prenatal vitamins.  Are all of you taking them already?  The only thing he put me on is folic acid.

Sorry this is so short, but I'm beat and must make dinner.  Until soon.
