Calling All Women of Strength!!!

A Strong Woman VS. A Woman Of Strength

A strong woman works out every day to keep her body in shape…
But a woman of strength builds relationships to keep her soul in shape.

A strong woman isn't afraid of anything…
But a woman of strength shows courage in the midst of fear.

A strong woman won't let anyone get the better of her…
But a woman of strength gives the best of herself to everyone.

A strong woman makes mistakes and avoids the same in the future…
A woman of strength realizes life's mistakes can also be unexpected blessings and capitalizes on them.

A strong woman wears a look of confidence on her face…
But a woman of strength wears grace.

A strong woman has faith that she is strong enough for the journey…
But a woman of strength has faith that it is in the journey that she will become strong.

Hi girls! Sorry it's taken me so long to get on here today! Our u/s went great!! It was honestly a 30-45 minute long u/s! They were SO detailed in measuring every little thing, even the bridge on her nose! Everything looks wonderful though! I'm honestly glad that the specialist looked over my results with me and after every thing we talked about, he would say "normal," and that made me feel really good to know Addy is doing so well! :) Oh and yes, Addy is still a little lady! ;) She was being very, very active and the tech said she is very photogenic, she gets it from her mommy! ;) It just reminded me of Kayln so much, b/c she was always SO active when we did u/s of her too! Sometimes I catch myself almost saying Kayln instead of Adalynn, but I guess that happens when you  have 2 kids of the same sex! :) I feel as if I'm getting a little peice of Kayln back by being blessed with Adalynn! I miss Kayln so much, and she'll always be mommy's little girl! I just feel very fortunate!! I thank you all for your notes and well wishes for today! :) I uploaded some pics from the u/s, not all of them b/c some of them were the same, but quite a few! She looks SO much like Kayln in the ones where she's looking right at us! I mean, I have Kayln's u/s pic where she's looking right at us, and you can just see the resembalance!!! (sp) It's beautiful! :)

Thank you all for the support and prayers. I haven't tested yet but I plan on it in the morning with a fresh sample lol. You never know though I guess.

You are all too sweet and our BFP list just seems to keep growing and growing.

My doctor wrote back to me.  He to up my dose of progesterone suppositories (those of you who get to do shots instead of these disgusting goopy pills don't know how lucky you are.  I would give a lot for injections, but they don't have them in France).  I was on 600 per day (3 pills of 200 each) and he told me to go to 800.  As soon as I got that news, I stuffed myself like a thanksgiving turkey with two more (for good measure) of the revolting pills, and in about an hour, the mild cramping went away.

I would love to know what you all think of this.  I have long suspected that my progesterone was a bit low because I have a short luteal phase.  One of the drugs my doctor gave me at the beginning of my cycle this time develops progesterone, so maybe that's why it's working, but he hasn't tested my progesterone level.  Has anyone else ever been told to up progesterone dosage?  Been tested for progesterone level after transfer? Do you have a way to tell how many mg's of progesterone you're injecting, or any other comparison to the amount I'm taking?
Many thanks for any answers you are willing to share.

Stacey - Sounds like somebody is nesting!  :)  Wow, I can't believe it's only 2 more weeks!  Seems like just yesterday you were starting your IVF process.  Words cannot even express how happy I am for you!  :)  You have been through so much and it's so exciting to think you and DH will be meeting little Jake so soon.

mommyin10 - Thanks for the info on Looloo, I hope she's OK.  That's so exciting that your bbs are so sore!  Let the pregnancy symptoms begin!  :)  So cool that you have a couch in your office, I'm sure that will definitely come in handy in the coming months!  How is DH feeling?  Hope he's getting better.  Can't wait for the u/s!

luvkayln - Anxiously awaiting your update!  Hope that your u/s confirmed that it is indeed a girl and you didn't do all that shopping for nothing!  LOL  Yes, you're right, Stacey and I were always posting at the same time, but we've been out of sync for a while now.

pyar - I'm so sorry you didn't get the news you were hoping for.  I wish I could give you some advice, but I'm not familiar with that whole process.  Just take it one day at a time and give youself some time to think about everything the doctor told you and what your options may be.  Somehow, you'll find a way to make it work.  Take care.

mrspace - So glad you had such a great night with your family.  It really sounds like your meds are working, so all the best to you this month!!!  :)  If your temp stays up, then I think you're right and maybe you just missed your surge.

kmcarino - I will definitely keep you in my prayers.  Just do like you said and stay positive and hopefully at least one will thrive now and develop into a beautiful little one.  Take it easy and know that we're all pulling for you!

scripps - It really sounds like you have some good symptoms, so hopefully that little bean is working ot hold on tight to you!  :)  Sorry, I may have missed this, but are you planning to have any bloodwork or u/s soon?  I'll be sure to keep you in my prayers.

jmh - Wow, how exciting that you could end up with a surprise BFP!!!  I hear about them all the time, so hopefully you'll be another one of those amazing stories!  Praying for you.  :)

So... thank you all for your sweet notes and get well wishes.  I'm doing a little better, still not great, but at least it gives me some hope that there may be an end in sight to this yucky-ness!  I don't have much pain other than my morning bathroom trip and some pinching/uncomfortable feelings once in a while during the day.  I'm just a little depressed though because I always have CM trouble and of course the past 2 days I have had so much EWCM!  So unfair considering there's no way I feel up to BD'ing.  :(  I guess after all this time though, I might as well just suck it up and look forward to next cycle and hopefully starting the meds.  I'm just ready to get back to normal.  I guess if I try to find a silver lining, it could be that something like this really makes you realize how much you take for granted in life.  Over the years, it's been so easy to get into a funk and feel so sad about TTC, but this is just another reminder that we still should be thankful for all of the other great things that we do have, like our health.  As much as I try to stay positive, I know that I've wasted too much time being sad and I'm so mad at myself for that!  So, I'm going to thank God for having this opportunity to gain a little perspective (wish it didn't have to be such a painful lesson, but...) and try to just pray for complete healing and the chance to move on and appreciate our lives.

Luvkayln - Good luck with your u/s today!  Can't wait to get confirmation that Addy is a little lady! :)  What a surprise if you find out she is a boy!!!  And yes you are right, Candie and I used to post at the same time all the time!  That was back in my working days.  So my appt is at 2:40 this afternoon and I am curious to see if they will check me for dilation.  I actually had some cramping when I woke up at 3am this morning.  It was maybe 2 or 3 good cramps and then it went away.  I will ask her about it.  So far they have not booked anymore u/s but I will be curious to see if they want to do one more before my c-section.....2 weeks from tomorrow!!!  My OBGYN has an u/s in her office but she really only looks at the heartbeat and positioning...so no measurements or placenta position etc.  So she will probably take a quick peak today! :)  We never did get a 3d / 4d ultrasound.  I would have had to pay for it at a private clinic and we just decided we were ok waiting to see his little face on his birthday!  They are very cool though!

Mommyin10 - I can't believe your bbs are still so sore!  That is good and I do remember going through a time where mine hurt a lot too!  It should ease up around 12/13 weeks.  Is it only Tues???  I can't wait for your u/s on Friday!!

Scripps - Great news on the hpt!!  I really think you are a-ok and well on your way with your pregnancy.  Hope you hear from your doc soon!

Kmcarino - Sorry the results were not what you were looking for but there is still a lot of hope!  Hang in there and continue to rest.

Mrspace - Keep up the bd'ing!!  That + should happen any time now.  Sounds like you had a great evening with your family...how fun!  So your mom is a Leo huh?  My sister is Aug 18!  Apparently I am a great match for Leos :) Little Jake will arrive 2 weeks tomorrow....YAY!!!  I am counting down every day and hour!

Pyar - So sorry :(  It sounds very confusing.  I guess egg matching is more complicated than I would have thought.  I think it is definitely worth starting to do some research for donar eggs from India. You never know, the costs may even be cheaper in India and there may be more options for you.  Do you have any family in India that could potentially help with looking into clinics?

Candie - Hope you are doing better friend!!

Guesito - How are you doing?

ArmyPrincess - Congrats!!  What a big boy and the name Jeremy is too cute.

Jmh - Please test!!  It sounds very promising for you!

So as I mentioned to Luvkayln, my appt is at 2:40 this afternoon.  I also have an appt on Tues Aug 4th at the hospital for "Preadmission appt".  I think for c-sections they do this a week before the surgery to meet with the anesthesiologist and do some final blood work.  Should be interesting!  I have pretty much finished Jake's laundry...yay!  I have sorted everything by size and started putting stuff away.  I went to take some pictures of his room and realized dh left our camera at work! Grrr.  So I will have to wait until tomorrow.  I also now have everything ready for my hospital bags.  It's just a matter of putting it all together.  Ladies...I can't believe I am next on the list to have my baby!!!  2 weeks tomorrow....I just can't believe it still!

Hope you all have a great day.  I will check in after my appt.

SSBD!!!

Hello everyone bad news i'm afraid the clinic won't even consider me for ivf they say that fsh of 18 and antral follicle count of 3  means the only thing they will allow for me is donor  egg but because we are of indian origin it may take years to find a match.I really don't know what to do all i can think is ok best thing is go to india at least we will get a donor quickly and a match but havent a clue where to begin. I hate being in England sometimes our choices  here are so limited.
