Best of luck on your u/s and the rest of your pregnancy kiko, keep us updated please : )
I am 5 wks, I am scheduled for u/s 9/26 I will be eight weeks then. 6 wks after "conception" or I guess you could say "O", but on your pregnancy calander it would actually 8 wks since you count from CD1.
So can you hear a heartbeat at around 6 weeks?
I think it depends on the dr. The dr my cousin choosed did not want to see her until she was 10 weeks. The dr i went to saw me at 8 weeks but was not going to do u/s until i was 4months but was going to do the doppler at 10 weeks to hear heartbeat. Unless i was unsure about my lmp she wouldve done u/s earlier, now she should not have told me that because now:))) i no what to say next time lol. I think you shouldnt get a u/s until you can at least hear the heartbeat and see something on screen.
Congrats and good luck
Congrat's kikicoates78, How many weeks are you now?
If you are seeing a RE I heard 6 wks, I want to go back to my reg. OBGYN, I just got my BFP, but RE won't release me till he at least sees the HB. So I just went to visit my nurse and doc, to tell them the news. Now I just get to sit and wait!!!!
Mine will not do an u/s till 7 weeks but many ob's do it at 6 weeks at which point you may or may not see a h/b. Also, your hcg should be high enough (at least 1200 i think) for them to see anything.
Good luck!
So the earlist time to hear a heart beat is at around 6 weeks?
This will depend on the doctor you see. Most doctors will see you around 8 weeks and they will do a basic ultra sound in there office.
it depends on the doc
I am very opinionated in this area
I think GOOD docs ONLY u/s after 6 weeks because there is no point till see HB
I think (money hungry or etc docs) do it early
JMO
some docs won't till 8 or 10 weeks
