IVF when does it start

Hey ,
        im so new to this so you'll have to excuse me if i sound like a total idiot lol

I was just wondering how many days into your cycle does the IVF process start ?

I mean like after you've had the tests to see if your clear for HIV , rubella immune etc.. etc

Also another thing , how many injections do you have to give yourself and on what days??

For me I started puregon injections on day 2 and then added ogolutron on day 8 and now I have another utz tomorrow to find out when my egg retrieval will be. This is my first time. I think retrieval takes place 12-14 days after you start your period. Good luck

lol thats gona be fun the butt injections and multiple injections daily ha.

Yeah my tubes are fine , and my fiancee' sperm count came back low and morphology so thats why we have to go down the IVF ICSI route..

and very true the lil beanie is worth it all and more..

When I started it was 11/10 for which I had to give myself lupron everyday to suppress ovaries & continue doing so with all other meds.
On 11/23 I started with Gonel F & then even started taking Menopur.  It was a few different shots daily. Some in am & some in pm all thru 12/1 for whichh I had my trigger shot & then retrival & transfer on 12/5.  it does happen rather quickly.
I was lucky enough to have no side effects to any meds.  The one that is giving me a problem now is the progesterone.  The beginning it was fine but the shots are really starting to bruise my butt. LOL  It's totally worth it though for my little beanie.

Since your blood work is done...did your husband get tested yet?  Did you have an HSG (dye test to check tubes)
