Hello Everyone,

I am new to this forum, i have facing some problem in getting pregnant. As my husband is working in offshore profession, we think that may be because of some fertility problems. Please can anyone help to increase fertility naturally or any home made remedies.

Please anyone help me

I agree completely with Nat.  If it's only been a couple of months, then it could just be timing . . . You can start with OPK's (ovulation predictor kits) to determine your most fertile time.  Like she said, if you've been at it for over a year, then it's time for a dr to step in.  Typically, the very first thing they will ask is that your husband do a semen analysis.  Then will make sure that you are O'ing and your tubes are not blocked.

As far as home remedies - you'll find a ton of them if you start googling.  Not everything that you read is safe, and it's always best to get your dr's opinion first.  However, there is nothing wrong with taking a pre-natal vitamin and to get your husband to take a regular multi-vitamin.  You can also try looking up Pre-Seed.  This is a sperm friendly lubricant and has many success stories.  I don't really have any CM, so my DH and I just started using it.  It's different from your regular lubricants (like KY) as those kind kill the sperm instead of providing a safe environment for it like Pre-Seed does.

Best of luck!

How long have you and your husband been trying to conceive. That's the question because if you've only been trying for a few months then the problem may be that you haven't given it enough time. The average pregnancy rate for a healthy couple with no fertility issues in their 20s is somewhere around 20% per cycle. So getting pregnant even for a perfectly healthy couple isn't an exact science. Now if you have been trying for a least a year that's a different story because it is at that point that you are officially considered as having some type of fertility issue. I don't know of any DIY solutions and even if I did I wouldn't recommend it. Hear me out. Your problem may be simply timing. In which case you could check into using a home ovulation predictor kit. But if and I say IF you have been trying for a year or longer then you really need to go to a doctor. Some women have blocked tubes, cysts and fibroids and endometriosis and all sorts of other things that can cause complications when it comes to getting pregnant. Some men may have a low sperm count or their sperm may be fine in numbers but may have poor mobility or a number of other issues. Some couples have unexplained infertility which is no less real than those who have problems which can be pinpointed. There are just too many possibilities for you to be able to figure this out on your own. Every couple is different so please don't think that I am trying to say that I believe you have any of these issues. These are just some of the issues that are out there. So I would definitely go and see my OB/GYN and say hey, we've been trying to get pregnant for this (fill in the blank) long and nothing's happening. My OB/GYN went ahead and ran a lot of tests on both myself and my husband then referred us to a reproductive endocronologist (and I know I misspelled that) or a fertility specialist. I think that if it is indeed that timing is really the only issue going on here because he has to be away so much for work then maybe you should consider collecting and storing you husband's sperm for your use when you are at the perfect time in your cycle and then have an IUI done. But as my OB/GYN put it... he said he could give me all the fertility drugs in the world but if my tubes were blocked then what good would it do? It would only waste my time and money. He did the tests to rule out what might be wrong. And my tubes it turned out were open.  But, please don't get me wrong because I"m not saying that you do have any major or even minor issues here. As you said yourself, this may just be timing. But I do think that if it's been a while then you should both get checked out to rule out other issues. I hope I've been of at least some help :) Good Luck!!!!
