IVF Day 5 Follistim follies?

Hi ! I'm 36 and just had my 5 day b/w & u/s from Follistim. I'm taking 225u of Follistim morning AND night and also 150 of Menopur just at night. I have to wait until 3pm to hear from the doctor regarding the results. What's a normal number of follies for 5 day tests? I'm 36. It looked like I had around 5 follies around 10mm at this point (just by watching the ultrasound monitor)...not sure if that's normal? Guess I thought there'd be more like 10 or 12? I actually lived in Paris beginning of the year and tried there--the drug regime was different but my body did not repsond. I had this French Wak-A-Do doctor. Previously I had tried Clomid and my body responded perfectly. Not sure why it didnt' respond to several days of stim injections. I got back in 2 days for my next u/s and labwork. Thank You! Any suggetions for this next week or so to help increase my odds? I did start accupuncture last week...

This is my VERY FIRST TRY for IVF & for all meds.  I just got married in NOV 2008.  We started to TTC in Jan 09 & mid summer started our tests because it was not happeneing & found out I had a clogged tube.
I didnt eat anything funky..but hey ya never know. LOL

Thanks! Sorry, I just realized you had posted something! Glad you like the name-That's what I am telling people now--I have a great garage--driveway not so good--and the cars aren't perfect and running a bit slow! LOL! It's just all so frustrating/emotional and we dont' have a lot of control over the outcome! Sorry to ask, but is this your first try? Thank you for the support--after my last try in Paris with no response--I am really nervous for 3pm to come so I can get my results! Are you eating anything funky? I read that after the transfer you should eat the core of a pineapple? A bit crazy? :-) Stay positive!

I am 37 & had 11 follies....I thought that was low from what was going on in my office but Dr explained that is in range because some people that have more have a chance of getting over stimulated.  Mine were in range from like 15-21 when I did the retrival they got 7 eggs 4 fertalized 2 transferd & just lost the other 2...they didnt make the freeze :-(

Your # is a good start & as you progress further you will develop more & they will increase in size.  My left side did so much better for most of the week & then the right caught up. Hang in there.....
