You have made a lot of assumptions here, Billie37. I don't have weight issues any longer, I got myself healthy so that I could have children. Also, not everyone just get pregnant once they sort out their weight issues - sometimes premature ovarian failure can occur with a long term eating disorder, in which case, it doesn't matter how healthy you become or how much weight you gain, you won't ovulate for the rest of your life. I said i DID have anorexia and that I was healthy today. Besides that, i can't just 'get pregnant' either because I am actually a single woman, so must use assisted conception and donor sperm.
Hi,
I know that it took me about a year to conceive because I was underweight, and as soon as I gained some weight, and relaxed, I got pregnant. If you keep obssessing with weight, chances are you wont have much a chance. I truly think it depends on what you really want.A woman's body by nature isn't meant to be undernourished, unless some health issues come along. Once you get the weight issue out of your head, you'll finally be able to conceive.Good luck!
Hi there,
The prerequisites of a successful implantation are a competent blastocyst embryo which will interact with a receptive endometrial uterine lining. The rate of embryo implantation varies in every woman. It depends on many factors like the quality of the IVF program, age of the woman etc.IVF failure is usually due to problems with the quality of eggs in most cases. Uterine causes can affect implantation but in very few cases. For making uterine lining receptive it should be exposed to the ovarian steroid hormones estrogen and progesterone in sufficient amounts and at proper timing. Do consult your infertility centre for more details. Keep me posted.
Best wishes and regards!
