what is a "passing" beta number?

To all the women who are familiar with HCG levels, what is a good beta number at 15dp3dt. I want to know what to expect. Can you give me any ball park numbers if you had a positiive beta adn what it was and when was the ovulation?

I also mostly read other posts, but am new to this and get somewhat confused with all of the acronyms and what numbers are good or bad.  We have been trying to become pregnant for 7 months and just used Provera for the first time at the end of November since I wasnt having periods at all since going off of birth control in June.  What are my chances of getting pregnant in the next 6 months, and if the Provera doesnt work, what are the next steps to a little help becoming pregnant?  Anyone willing to clue me in?

Thank you!!

Kelly

Google TTC acronyms...it will clue you in.  BFP/BFN is big fat postiive/negative.  TTC is trying to conceive.  AF is aunt flo...your period.  I'm trying to think of others but am drawing a blank.

I'm not sure what provera is, but 7 months isn't that long TTC.  Sometimes it does take some time to get your period or to become pregnant after coming off the pill.  There is no way I can tell you, or anyone can tell you, your chances of getting pregnant in the next 6 months.  But, the next step for you if I were you, would be to either talk to your OB/Gyn or call an RE (reproductive endocrynologist, specializes in infertility) and get in for a consult.  I have had children from a previous marriage and we just got our first BFP and it took since June of 2007.  We finally were able to conceive through IVF.

Sorry you didn't get a response to your post.  Maybe no one really knew how to answer it!

Good luck, let me know if you have any other questions!

Just remember that everyone is differrent & even though some people have been trying for years ... it's not that way for everyone.
We just completed our First ever IVF without even trying anything else meaning (IUI or any other drug) due to a blocked Tube.  I was just confirmed pregnant on the first Time.
This will be our first child for both of us.  I am 37.

I do agree with mommyof3 though & you really need to speak to RE.  Good Luck to you.
