Need help with sperm count test results!!!!!

Hi ladys.  Can someone help me?  DH got his sperm results bk today.  First of all let me say, doc wasn't happy with hospital lab for some reason, he wouldn't say why.  He did say he didn't want to go on these findings though.  Also insisted we go with a male fertility doc in another town.  Ok,  following is what showed,

volume 1.5
color  normal
viscosity  increased
ph  9.1
count  31.7
motility 15

What does this all mean?  Where can i find out online?

What if this is the true results we need to go by.  Doc said test shows mobility very slow.  Where will we have to go from there.  We have alot of faith in our doc.  Is it probable that the hospital messed up the results?  Anything will help at this point.  Thank you so much.

Tammy

I found this on a website - it indicates 'normal' ranges for sperm analysis.  It was clear to point out that pregnancy can still occur with subnormal ranges.

Volume of ejaculate - 2.0 ml or more
pH - 7.2-8.0
Sperm concentration - 20 million per ml spermatozoa or more
Motility - 50% or more with forward progression
Morphology - 15% or more with normal forms
Vitality - 75% or more live
White blood cells - Fewer than 1 million per ml

Hope this helps!
