Pos OPK

Hi I'm 6dpiui and I did something really stupid. I had an extra opk test and decided I would pee on it just to see what happens. Well it was pos. it was a thin line but very visible. I know that OPKs test for the same hormones as PG test and so now I'm wanting to know is this pos from the meds. from my IUI cycle? I had my trigger on 29Apr so about a week ago. Is the HCG from that still in my system making this pos? Someone help! Kinda freakin out. Thanks. Dust to all of you ttc.

Yes allow 1 day for each 1,000 ius of shot. Traditionally its 10,000 so atleast 10 days, but everyone metabolizes differently. Good luck.

Thankseveryone. I've stopped freaking out now. I've ready that study on peeonastick.com before. Just thought I would see what happened didn't think I would actually get a line.

I agree that the trigger is most likely still in your system but what you did is not stupid! There is actually a very interesting study on peeonastick.com about opks!

They say the HCG from the trigger shot stays in the system for about 10 days... so it might be too early for you to test.. wait another 2 or 3 days and test again. good luck!
