Thank you so much turtle4 but the doctor said that since its just about 1.5m with few sperm cells motility that we should wait until his medication has increased it to 5m or more.Am so frustrated and wondering how much longer we will wait,U know what ?some times i feel that am strong and can cope with the situation after which i will find myself crying bitterly, cos am from a society where people see child bearing as a priority,as if ,if you don't have a child you are nobody, and here they always see it that fertility issue comes from the woman only.or that its a spiritual problem.TOO BAD.

Hang in there. My dh and I are doing IUI and he too has very very low count. Our doc told us that the IUI will place the sperm where they need to be and this way they dont have to go through all the other fluids etc. To get pregnant naturally very few sperm make it to the egg, so the way I see it is that I get more sperm where they need to be from IUI. Go for it!
