I need OPK help

I'll try not to make ths too long.  RE told me to do OPK since DH and I got the green light to try again.  Last month was my first month.  Needless to say, since I'm here again...no baby!  I've never had problems getting pregnant, just staying pregnant, so this is really discouraging to me that we didn't get pregnant the first time.  Back to OPK.  Last month my test line was AS dark as my control line on CD15.  I have a 29 day cycle.  I took that to be my surge.  Well, not knowing any better, I tested again on CD16 and the test line was DARKER than control line.  Was that my surge?  This go around I started testing CD11, which was fairly noticeable.  CD12 was very faint.  CD13 was a little darker than CD12, but not as dark as CD11.  Is this normal?  When I get my surge, my RE wants me to come in right away to do blood work and u/s.  Any advice or guidance is GREATLY appreciated because as you can see I'm totally confused!!

When I finally got my positive line.. it was SO RED that I then realized the other dark, thin lines weren't the positives.  It is very confusing the first month.

I would go with tina.  The darker control line sounds right.  Good Luck.  SSBD

I have had that happen, too. The one that was darker than the control line was my surge. You likely caught the beginning of your surge on cd15 and the rest of it on cd16. If you haven't done it already, call your dr and get your b/w & u/s sched asap!! Good luck!
