When I went through the testing at the RE's office, he told us that male infertility is one of the easiest to work with because as long as they can get to the sperm then they can do IUI or IVF depending on what the problem is. If they send you for testing, that is actually a good thing because you will get some answers and these days there is so much they can do to help get you pregnant. When I started the tests I felt better because at least I felt like I was making progress after 8 months of nothing. Plus you are still young so your odds of getting pregnant with or without help are really good. Good luck!
They can do an IUI or IVF. We had IF problems because I didn't ovulate but also because of DH's viscosity. He had a ton of sperm (more than normal) but the viscosity was so thick the sperm couldn't break through to fertilize an egg. They had to wash it out (I think they said times) to thin out the viscosity in order to do an IUI. If you suspect it might be him make sure he keeps the boys cool, especially with summer coming. No hot tubs, no briefs (boxers or boxer briefs), bike riding is sometimes an issue because the boys get squished and overheated, no tight pants.
