Well tomorrow is the big ultrasound day! We're nervous. I'll let you all know what happens!
Well....it was ONE perfect baby with a perfect beating heart! We are ecstatic! The other two sacs are still there, but hadn't grown much in two weeks.
I know some of you were excited at the prospect of more, and some of you even want more than one for yourselves, but for us, we were REALLY routing for one. Primarily because I will be a high risk pregnancy no matter what with all my issues, and adding multiples to that only increases the risk. We are relieved that I won't be bumped up to an even higher risk category. Secondly because we are still quite unstable financially due to the fact that I have been out of work for the better part of the past 3 years from all of my many surgeries surgeries and fertility treatment complications. We could certainly swing one right now, but 3 would pretty much doom us financially. Especially since no schools are hiring and dh has yet to be able to find a university position in 3 years since getting his masters. Right now he's working at an art auction house moving art. If we had a say and I wasn't facing a hysterectomy and in a ton of pain before getting pregnant, we would've waited all together for financial reasons, but with my body that was not an option.
YAY!!! ONE BABY!!! It's heartbeat was 176 which is GREAT and we got to hear it and it wiggled for us! It was amazing!
