Hi my name is Tina and I am trying to get pregnat but no luck yet I have had two good and healthy kids that are now 11 and 10 yrs old but after them I had two abortions years apart but worried that I might not be able to get pregnat also my husband now has two healthy kids but its been 10yrs since his last child and not sure if he is able to have anymore. He has told me he was trying but not really wit his ex of 5yrs but nothing and had no sex for about 2yrs until we meet and now we have been together 2 yrs but only been trying for the past 7months and nothing yet. He thinks I might of had a misscarage about 2 months ago but it would of been only a moth if I did because I had major pain and was bleeding and it was not my period and was only for a day or two. So idk what to think.I am 31yrs old and he is 37yrs old. What can we do to help us with this natural way?I have always had good resualts on my pap test but with my recent test wit a new OBGYN I have now she had a hard time gettin to my utorus and it was very painfull while she was trying to get it and I have never had a problem before she said my utorus was tiltied and when I got the test back said I had infection so I had to take metronidazole and I have had prob since then. Please help me so I can conceiveAny advice .

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello and welcome,
There are several conditions which can lead to infertility. Blocked fallopian tube, PID, ovulation dysfunction, hormonal imbalances etc. Male factors affecting fertility are decreased sperm count, decreased sperm motility etc. As a woman ages the quality of her eggs decreases. You mentioned about infection, is it pelvic inflammatory disease? In PID the inflammation can form scar tissue in the abdominal cavity and the reproductive organs. The scar tissue can lead to infertility and ectopic pregnancy. You will need complete evaluation like pelvic scan, HSG, hormonal assay etc. A sperm analysis of your partner may also be needed. Seek the opinion of an infertility expert. Keep me posted.
Best luck and regards!
