july ivf cycle anyone?

Hello everyone, just want to pal up with anyone starting ivf again or for the first time in July. Some of you who read this site alot may have read about our previous ivf attempt, BFP in April but I miscarried 10 days later. We decided to try a couple of months trying natuarly but if no success we are going for one last time at ivf as we know it DOES work with me. So when af arives in July here we go again, on max menopur 450(2 injections a day) plus buserelin injection. good luck and best wishes to each and everyone of you beginning or for those who are in the middle of this process already. melissaxx

Karen,

What wonderful news about the heart beat !  I am so happy for you!  See, I told you way back when that I knew this would work for you!
You are such a doll and deserve this wonderful gift!
Maybe you could ask your RE to keep you on the progesterone like Loveday did... it might give you peace of mind.

I think of you often and am glad thing are going so well for you! : )

How are those kittens doing?!?!?

Hey there Karen!
Yes my RE said to stop the PIO at 8 weeks but I stressed to my OB yesterday after talking to him that I would like to stay on a couple more weeks....he said that was fine.  So I am going to continue until week 10!  I definitely don't want to disrupt anything else while my thyroid levels are being stabalized.  That is AWESOME news about the baby's heart beat.....what a nice jump :-)  & the SCH is gone....THAT IS WONDERFUL!!  I hope this great news gives you a little piece of mind and you are able to relax a bit.  I have my 1st OB appt. next Tuesday and he will do a ultrasound too....thank goodness cause I am going crazy not knowing how he/she is doing!  So how are you feeling???  How are your kitties doing??

Hi Ladies.

Just wanted to check in and say that I am thinking of you all.

Bri - are you off the PIO at 8 weeks?  That's when my RE stops it, but when I google this issue, it seems that most REs keep patients on it until 12 weeks.  I assume my RE knows what she is doing, but it's scary to be cut off like that.

I had another U/S this morning.  The baby's heartbeat was 141, which was a vast improvement from last week, when it was only 108.  The baby measured 7 weeks, 3 days, which seems good because I am 7 wks/2 days today.  Last week it was measuring 2 days behind, and I had been worried sick about it for a week.

My RE has offered to see me a week longer than normal because I am so petrified about something going wrong.  I couldn't get in to see my Ob until 11 days after my last RE appointment, and I figured that I would go insane after 11 days of not knowing what's going on.

Lastly, the RE said that she didn't see any more subchorionic hemorrhages, so I am praying that I am past that.  I really don't have the nerves to deal with seeing bleeding!

The Crinone my RE actually gave me a box for free since I just needed a week supply!!!  Which was awesome!  The PIO shots were covered by my insurance surprisingly and I had just a co-pay of $42 and some change.  I would get 2 viles @ a time and I have to take 1cc everynight.  The 2 viles would last me about 3 weeks....which isn't too bad.  Nothing like the cost of Gonal-F and Menopur....etc. (Thank goodness)!  To me the shots really aren't too bad.....I guess during week 5-6 it wasbecoming a bit sore but I found that putting cold packs on the site after you do the shot really helps!!!!  Putting heat on it actually made it worse for me.
