trying to get pregnant after tubes tied??

hello,i had my tubes tied(clamped)stupidly 6 1/2 years ago,and i want to have a baby now so bad,but cannot afford to get a reversal done.my question is :can i still get pregnant?and if so,are there any specific things i can do to inhance any chances?also, ive been feeling weird past month and then me and my fiance had sex like normal on nov.3rd,and i bled very heavily during sex.so much, that we stopped and when i went to shower,i was so dizzy and shaky etc..and since ive still felt "off"..and been spotting on and off outta the blue, but it stops as quick as it starts.i thought i might be pregnant  but i started my period 15days after the sex/bleeding(nov19th)..could i be pregnant still?long shot but hopeful!!!!;)

Pregnancy after tubal ligation is rare, but can happen. You best options for conception are still going to be the more expensive ones. Either looking at a way to have the tubal reversal or IVF (which extracts the eggs, fertilizes them and replaces them in the uterus, bypassing the fallopian tubes.)
I wish I could offer more than this.

Hi Jameelee30 I would like to say yes it is rare but can def. happen I had my tubal ligation in July 2011 after having my second child. I was always paranoid about possible pregnancies. But it did not happen. On December 12 2012 I went into the hospital with chronic uterual and abdominal pains. I was told I had a cyst in my left tube. The pain went on for another. My menses was due the following week. The pain intensified. 3 days late on my menses I ignored it because the cyst symptoms are very similar. By the end of the night I was in the hospital because I thought I was going into labor. Turns out the cyst was an embryo. They worried about me continuing to have etopic pregnancies because it had only been a year and a half since my surgery. So my tubes were removed completely. And they also discovered the burnt tube had a small cut above it and I had a cyst in my right tube. So yes it is rare but very very possible.

I've known a couple people who had gotten pregnant after their tubes were tied, but they weren't trying to, so I think it's just one of those things that rarely happens.. Unless you get it reversed I would say don't stress yourself out with trying to get pregnant most likely won't happen..

I high doubt that there's a way for you to get pregnant if you have your tubes tied... You would probably have to go by the doctor to find out what your options are, but you're probably going to have to untie them... Good Luck..
