since i am not trying this month should i still do opks? i have several of them. (50)
girls u are giving me hope. I know God has a plan. Maybe it is for me to get everythign correct before i get pregnant. He might have made me wait so long in order for me to find the right dr so my life can be saved.
Have I told you that I also have a clotting factor? I had to be on blood thinners during both of my pregnancies, but had no complications from it. Oh, and I had two miscarriages before that.
I have PCOS and I have carried a singleton and twins with no problems. When the doctors were talking to me about PCOS they told me it makes the eggs harder to fertilize. So if you use your eggs she should have no problems carrying a baby for you.
Its good to hear you are getting answers though. I feel for you, you have have been through a lot. I know it must be very hard having to deal with all of this. Your new doctor seems to know what their doing though. So hopefully they will figure out a way to make it happen for you. Take care *hugs*
it is ok... heather u got it. he is worried about both of us gettting pregnant and then us ending up with 4+.
I have mc several times and now they have told me that i have a clotting factor. i clot to much which gets worse during pregnancy. i will have to be watched like crazy. weekly us weekly bw, i could throw a clot and kill the baby or myself. it is high risk to me. plus i have endo. I think dh was telling me the stuff about my body to make me feel better. i cried knowing that this might be my only option. i said i will never feel it move i will miss out on all of the things a mother is suppose to get with this one too. He was trying to cheer me up.
We are going to try for 6 more months and then do ivf. We wont to do it before i turn 30.
I have just re-read that and got it !! :/ I read it as he didnt want part of me in her.... sorry.... :) thats what I couldnt understand :)
I believe she is talking about using her own eggs, BUT if they go with a surrogate to only transfer embryos to the sister and not the sister AND her, in case they both end up pregnant. Right, rmmoye? As for the PCOS, I wouldn't think that would affect carrying a baby, but that is something your RE would be able to answer. If I were you, I would just set up a consultation with your RE and talk to him/her about it. And bring a list in with any questions you can think of beforehand. Has your sister had successful pregnancies before?
pcos has no bearing on whether you can be a surrogate or not, its not going to stop her from being able to carry a baby, I would be a little concerned though with some of the comments your husband has made in regards to this though, I would think that you would worry more if someone else was carrying your baby, you cant 100% controll what the surragate does so there will always be an element of risk, also I dont understand why he wouldnt want her carring your child usuing your eggs? if he's fine with using her as a surrogate wouldnt it be better if it was with your eggs if possible? and also being pregnant doesnt necessarily mean the end to your cute little tight body, alot of women bounce back to their prebaby body within a year some alot sooner, and I would think that your husbands thoughts on your body staying the same verses carrying a baby yourself, shouldnt really come in to it, I think surrogancy is absolutely fantastic if you def cant carry a child of your own, but you or your husband wont be able to bond so much with the baby if your sister is carrying bub, its not like hes going to be able to cuddle her and feel your baby move when your in bed....
