Can GERD or Acid reflux be related to stress like symptoms like dizziness?

I'm not sure what the hell is going on with me lately. I'm experiencing dry heaves, body twitches, and most of all dizziness when I feel the acid reflux coming up.  It's pretty uncomfortable.  I started Nexium 3 days ago and it's gotten a little better.  I have had bad acid reflux episodes before but this time it's along with the dizziness.  At night I'm not sleeping well and in the morning I waked up anxious.
