My daughter ate Tums (calcium tablets) like candy all during her pregnancy to combat the burning of GERD or heartburn.  Ask your doctor if it's okay for you.

Hi and welcome to the GERD forum.

It is very possibly a GERD issue ...even if u did not have one B4 becoming pregnant....as it can be something u may only deal with while pregnant/

U may want to try eating more meals, but smaller meals over the course of the day...do not lay down for 3 to 4 hrs after u eat...avoid greasy, spicy, acidic foods as well as caffeine, carbonated bevs and alcohol...many of which we r told to avoid while pregnant ....

I use to carry saltines with me when I felt like this when I was pregnant.....

Congratulations and I pray the rest of ur pregnancy goes smoothly <3
