I am so sorry u r having issues getting help.....please post what u find out at the clinic.
Good luck
Thank you so much for letting me know I. Was always afraid I couldn't take them more then that.
And we do have some problem is they all told me to get a Gi doctor because most low cost clinics only cover minor or common illnesses but GI drs they are out the roof
I did get ahold of a hospital that have clinics open inside walmarts that will do physicals for only $65 so I'm gonna get that done then see what they say from there.
Its just so hard I am on my own work part time but fulltime hrs with a job who refuses to add me to full time with benifits to save money and my parents refuse to help me out when I'm in so much pain even thu they have money & I've never asked for anything.....very difficult to get medical help
Hi and welcome to the GERD forum.
U can take the prilosec longer then 3 months, it is recommended if u do take it longer that u have reg check ups and blood labs so if ur Dr is monitoring u while on it u can take it longer...the issues that can develop is low calcium as it can deplete it from ur system, but if a Dr is watching for the levels he/she can use supplements.,...etc....so if it works take it.
If u have bloody stools u may have hemorrhoids....so see a GI Dr....what u do not want is black tarry stools which indicate bleeding up higher.....
What u r describing is not a bloody stool...u need to see a Dr asap.....do u have clinics out there?....they tend to be better then an ER....
What did't you understand about it?
I have gone a few years back when I was in pain and vomitting & bloody stools from the lactose intolerance they charged me 5000 dollars kept me in the er for 10 hours and said they didn't know the cause of my pain and sent me home... I can't stand the er's here
Your post was impossible for me to follow, but did understand you don't have insurance. If you have bloody stools, go to the emergency room. You won't be charged if you can't afford it. Bloody stools is an emergency situation.
